Project Name: I Can Design Like This
Project Goal: To create posters using common kinds of graphic design, venting my frustration with the hiring process.

Project Process: I began by thinking about specific kinds of typographical style I found being used most often. I then typeset one phrase, "I can design like this if you want me to," in several different styles and printed them off. Using a technique I've seen used many times, I then scanned what I printed and blew it up instead of increasing the size digitally. This creates a soft edge along a lot of main titles because of the paper grains.

Next I put each style on a different poster and designed from there based on how I saw each type style used most often. I chose sexualized imagery to show my feelings on what it means to me to change my design style to fit an industry where what I do seems to have no place.
